Qurbani enables donors to fulfill their sacrifice while providing fresh meat to vulnerable families during Eid al-Adha. By distributing Qurbani meat to those in need, the project shares the blessings and joy of the occasion with communities that would otherwise go without.
"There is nothing dearer to ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) during the days of Qurbani than the sacrificing of animals. The sacrificed animal shall come on the Day of Judgement with its horns, hair, and hooves (to be weighed). The sacrifice is accepted by ALLAH (سبحانه وتعالى) before the blood reaches the ground. Therefore sacrifice with an open and happy heart" [Tirmidhi, p. 275, Vol.1]
Qurabni is a religious duty upon those who meet the threshold. We distribute Qurbani meat to the most needy. During the festivities there are thousands who simply look at those with wealth enjoying the festival. We can be their joy by supporting Poverty Relief in distributing Qurbani meat. There are many options that you can choose from and support our Qurbani project. Whether it is a Wajib or Nafl act, join us and share the festivities with those who are forgotten during these blessed days.
